Job summary

Zesty Work is seeking a Senior Structural Technician in the Bristol area (Chipping Sodbury) to lead larger projects, create 2D and 3D drawings for major infrastructure, and mentor junior technicians.

Requirements include BIM proficiency (ReCap, Navisworks), detailing reinforced concrete and steel, and strong skills in Revit and AutoCAD. Hybrid working, a competitive salary and benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with BIM packages such as ReCap & Navisworks.
• Experience detailing structures in reinforced concrete and steel.
• Strong technical drawing skills using Revit and AutoCAD for building materials.
• Excellent knowledge of civil and structural build details and construction interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Leading larger projects, planning work, and delegating tasks to other technicians.
• Creating technical drawings in 2D and 3D for major infrastructure projects.
• Mentoring junior technicians.
• Daily liaison with clients and external design teams.
• Producing reinforcement bending schedules for reinforced concrete.
• Managing workload across multiple projects to meet client needs.
