Job summary

Wentworth Technical Services is seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead the planning, management and delivery of specialist structural works across London and the wider UK. This key operational role focuses on ensuring safe, professional, and commercially successful project delivery with emphasis on concrete repair, CFRP installation and complex structural alterations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in construction, civil engineering or specialist structural works.
• Experience in concrete repair, structural remedials, CFRP, hydraulics and jacking, strengthening works or structural alterations.
• Good technical understanding of structures, load paths, materials, plant and equipment.
• Commercial awareness, including cost control, programme management, variations and budgets.
• Strong communication skills and confident site presence.
• Ability to manage site teams, subcontractors and project documentation.
• Computer literate.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage specialist site works including concrete repairs, remedial works, CFRP strengthening, hydraulic jacking and structural alteration projects.
• Plan and coordinate labour, materials, plant and equipment to support safe and efficient project delivery.
• Monitor project progress, programme, costs, variations and commercial performance.
• Liaise with clients, engineers, site teams, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with quotations, scope, programme and client requirements.
• Review and manage RAMS, work briefs, ITPs, drawings, site reports, photographs and project documentation.
• Track variations and raise RFIs where required.
• Coordinate weekly work schedules for site teams.
