Job summary

RGB Network in Central London is seeking an Associate Director Structural Engineer to join the leading building structures team. This role combines hands-on design leadership with project management across UK and overseas schemes, often valued from £50m to £400m.

You will lead teams, win work, mentor graduates, and coordinate feasibility studies, design reports, calculations, and contract documents while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Hands-on leadership with mentoring graduates and junior staff.
• Minimum 10 years of design experience in UK building structures.
• Chartered Engineer status is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams and manage projects with directors as mentors.
• Business development and winning work for building structures schemes.
• Prepare feasibility studies, concept and scheme design reports.
• Perform design calculations and prepare contract documents and specifications.
• Supervise staff and undertake some project management tasks.
• Engage with clients and manage relationships throughout projects.
