Job summary

Ramboll Bristol is seeking an Associate Structural Engineer to lead complex structural design and deliver innovative, sustainable solutions. You will guide project teams, manage client relationships, and collaborate across disciplines to provide integrated infrastructure responses.

You will contribute to growing the Bristol I&IF team, supporting business development and expanding technical capability within Ramboll’s regional network.

Qualifications

• Chartered with the IStructE, ICE or an international equivalent.
• Significant experience as a structural engineer delivering technically challenging projects.
• High level of technical competence across steel, concrete and/or timber.
• Experience taking technical responsibility for projects and guiding other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and delivery of technically complex projects with focus on quality and outcomes.
• Develop structural concepts and innovative engineering solutions.
• Act as technical reference and coach others.
• Manage client relationships and represent Ramboll at meetings.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors and other disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
• Promote sustainable and low-carbon design approaches.
