Job summary

Holmes Care Group is seeking a Staff Nurse to lead the nursing team and assess, plan, and evaluate residents’ needs with compassion and professional insight. You will oversee medicine management and ensure safe medication administration, while contributing to a stable, supportive home environment.

You will be registered with the NMC and hold a nursing qualification, bringing caring attitude, experience, and clear professional boundaries to the role.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the NMC is required.
• Adequate knowledge and understanding of nursing role and boundaries.
• Commitment to high standards and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent nursing care to residents.
• Oversee medicine administration according to standards.
• Create and carry out treatment plans.
• Provide a safe, caring environment for residents.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines.
• Support the Service Manager and supervise shifts.
• Teach, guide and mentor other team members.
• Work with the Manager to ensure smooth home operation.
