Job summary

Digital Waffle in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Lead Data Engineer skilled in SQL Server, SSIS and SSRS to steer a small team through a critical migration project.

The role focuses on leading data engineering efforts for migrating to Azure Fabric, maintaining legacy SSRS reports and SSIS pipelines while delivering scalable data solutions. Hybrid work is available, with 2 days per week in the West Yorkshire office.

Qualifications

• Extensive SQL Server, SSIS and SSRS experience.
• Proven ability to lead a small data-engineering team.
• Power BI knowledge a plus; Azure Fabric migration experience desirable.

We are looking to recruit an experience SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS Lead Data Engineer. In addition to being a an accomplished data engineer you will need to show experience of leading a small team of data engineers. Experience with Power BI and / or Fabric would be an advantage but not essential. Indeed this will be an opportunity to gain experience with both.

Our client is in the process of migrating to Azure Fabric. We need a data engineer with the experience to lead a team of data engineers working on the migration to Azure Fabric. There remains a substantial legacy of SSRS reports and SSIS Pipeline to be maintained and migrated.
