Job summary

The Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist role with Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board’s Mainstream Schools team offers a part-time position (3 days a week) to support children and young people with speech, language and communication needs across mainstream settings. You will work with families, schools and partner agencies to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required.
• Degree or equivalent in Speech and Language Therapy.
• Significant experience in the clinical area of specialism.
• Experience delivering supervision and education to colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Triage and prioritisation of referrals and caseload management for a complex paediatric caseload.
• Deliver assessment, intervention and management of speech and language needs in mainstream settings.
• Contribute to training and education for colleagues and partners; provide clinical supervision.
