Job summary

The Children’s Trust is seeking a Highly Specialist Physiotherapist on a fixed-term contract (until December 2027) to lead a rehabilitation therapy service for children and young people. The role includes on-site duties, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and coordination of home/school-based therapy plans.

Salary ranges from £53,751 to £60,651 per annum with London weighting, 37.5 hours weekly, and a closing date of 20 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Highly Specialist Physiotherapist with leadership capabilities
• Ability to deliver evidence-based, outcome-focused interventions
• Experience in coordinating therapy teams and MDT collaboration

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and evaluate physiotherapy interventions for referred children within a multidisciplinary setting.
• Carry out highly specialist assessments and interventions (e.g., Botox clinic support, serial casting, orthotics).
• Produce functional goals with child, family and MDT, and develop 24hr postural management programmes.
• Coordinate therapy within the house-based team and liaise with medical staff and off-site clinics.
• Maintain accurate intervention records and contribute to child-related reports.
