Job summary

Barts Health NHS Trust is recruiting a Band 7 Specialist Medicine Dietitian to lead the Dietetics service for Specialist Medicine at the Royal London Hospital. The post involves providing complex nutritional support on specialist medicine wards and advising on parenteral nutrition.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge in complex nutrition support and parenteral nutrition.
• Experience in leadership and line management.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the dietetics service for Specialist Medicine and provide complex nutritional support on specialist medicine wards.
• Provide expert level dietetic assessment, treatment and advice to a specialist caseload with complex nutritional needs including endocrinology, infection and immunity, HIV, respiratory diseases and cardiology (enteral and parenteral nutrition possible).
• Support junior dietitians and supervise development and career progression.
