Job summary

Expleo Group is seeking a skilled RF Communications Architect in Stevenage to lead end-to-end RF system definition, design, and verification for aerospace projects. You will coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure compliant, high‑reliability RF solutions.

The role requires expert knowledge in RF & microwave engineering, extensive system engineering experience, and strong leadership with a focus on mission success and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronic/Telecommunications/RF & Microwave Engineering or related.
• Experience delivering aerospace RF systems including TT&C/S-band/x-band.
• Experience with ESA or institutional space programmes.
• Experience with RF subsystem architectures and equipment specifications.
• Strong technical leadership and supplier management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead spacecraft RF communications activities across project phases.
• Act as RF focal point for customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Define RF architectures and subsystems to meet requirements.
• Analyse system requirements and allocate to RF subsystems.
• Perform RF system analyses and produce design documentation.
• Coordinate procurement, supplier engagement, and technical reviews.
