Job summary

SII UK is seeking an experienced RF Communications Architect to lead the definition, design, analysis and delivery of spacecraft RF communication systems within a complex space programme. You will act as the focal point for RF communications activities, ensuring requirements, architecture, procurement, and verification meet programme milestones.

Qualifications

• Experience in spaceborne RF communication architectures.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and influence design decisions.
• Proven supplier management and procurement support.

Responsibilities

• Lead RF communications activities across the spacecraft programme.
• Report progress, risks and opportunities to the Electrical Lead Architect and Chief Engineer.
• Act as primary RF communications contact for customers and stakeholders.
• Define and manage RF interfaces and KID between subsystems.
• Produce design justification and RF engineering analysis documentation.
• Generate RF link budgets and perform performance assessments.
• Support system architecture definition and equipment procurement processes.
