Job summary

Colonial Group in Greater London is seeking a Sous Chef to join our kitchen team, Monday to Friday, with a £45,000 salary. You will support the Head Chef, ensure the food is prepared to the highest standard, and keep the kitchen clean and well stocked.

You will lead the team on the front line, stay up to date with menus, and deliver warm, friendly service while complying with COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working in a kitchen in a similar role.
• Strong background in Hospitality and Staff Dining.
• Flexibility to work evening events.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the food is to the highest standard.
• Ensure the kitchen and service area are always clean, well-presented, and well-stocked.
• Keep up to date with menus and what food is on offer.
• Offer a warm and friendly service.
