Berretto Lounge, a Loungers venue, is hiring a full-time Sous Chef to lead kitchen shifts and back up the Head Chef.

You’ll steer the team on service, uphold high standards on the pass, and ensure every dish leaving the line is cooked with pride.

This 48-hour contract (40-hour option) offers a competitive base salary with bonus and overtime, real progression opportunities, and staff benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sous Chef or similar role (Chef de Partie ready for step up).
• Passion for fresh ingredients and consistent plating quality.
• Ability to coach and develop kitchen staff.

Responsabilités

• Lead kitchen shifts with confidence from prep through to final plate.
• Support the Head Chef and step in during their absence.
• Set and maintain high standards on the pass for quality, pace, and cleanliness.
• Manage prep, par stock, waste, orders and shift handovers effectively.
• Coach and support chefs to grow and deliver great food each shift.
