Job summary

AccorHotel is seeking a passionate Sous Chef to join our kitchen team and assist the Head Chef in daily operations. You will lead a busy team, maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and service, and take charge in the Head Chef's absence.

You will contribute to menu development, cost control and staff training, ensuring meals are produced to specification and delivered with pride. A strong can-do attitude and team spirit are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience at Sous Chef level in a professional kitchen.
• Recognised food hygiene qualification, ideally Intermediate Food Hygiene or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and safe working practices.
• Understanding of menu development and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef with day-to-day operation and management of the kitchen, ensuring standards are met.
• Take responsibility for the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence and ensure smooth service.
• Assist with preparation and service of all food, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Lead, coach and develop kitchen team, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
