Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a premium or high-volume kitchen.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• High standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Ensure mise en place is completed efficiently and maintained throughout service.
• Prepare and present dishes in line with the restaurant’s standards and specifications.
• Supervise and support junior chefs across all sections.
• Oversee food quality, portion control, and consistency during service.
• Assist with stock orders, rotation, and inventory management.
• Support onboarding and training of new kitchen staff.
• Contribute to the creation of new dishes and seasonal specials.
• Complete daily and weekly reports as required.
• Step into leadership when senior kitchen management is not present.
