Job summary

Pulse Group in London is building a new venture from scratch, with its own brand and central offices. The team will run on AWS with a Python-first approach and an agentic mindset from day one.

This is a high-impact engineering startup inside a household-name UK business. As one of the first two engineering hires and the most senior technical appointment, you will define the core stack, orchestrate the integration plan with enterprise systems, set agentic system patterns, and decide what to reuse

Responsibilities

• Define the core stack with the interim CTO and AWS teams supporting the build.
• Write the integration plan that connects the new business to the group’s enterprise systems through an in-house stack.
• Set the patterns for agentic systems: MCP servers, agent-to-agent, and LLMs in production.
• Decide what to reuse from existing systems and what to rebuild.
• Stay hands-on: prototype, test APIs and write code where it moves the build forward.
