Job summary

Intact Insurance in Horsham is seeking a Solution Data Architect to design and deliver data architectures, models and integration designs. You will work with enterprise architects, technology teams and business stakeholders to shape data governance and DP by design.

The role also supports ongoing improvement of architecture practices. The position offers collaboration with multiple IT and business teams, providing guidance and ensuring alignment to enterprise standards while embedding secure

Qualifications

• Advanced data modelling and architectural design skills.
• Hands-on experience with data modelling tools.
• Understanding data integration patterns, middleware and database technologies.
• Knowledge of data protection, governance frameworks and secure design practices.
• Ability to communicate, manage stakeholders and influence effectively.
• Experience delivering solution-level data architecture across complex projects and programmes.
• Experience producing data impact assessments, guidance and reusable design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver solution data architectures aligned to enterprise standards.
• Develop and maintain solution data models, dictionaries and integration designs.
• Support canonical data exchange across strategic systems.
• Act as the project-level data architecture lead and provide guidance to stakeholders.
• Embed data governance and Data Protection by Design principles.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of data architecture practices and patterns.
