Job summary

Intact Insurance in the UK is hiring a Solution Data Architect to design robust, scalable data architectures and lead data modelling across programs. You will report to the Lead Solution Data Architect and partner with enterprise architects, the Chief Data Office and business stakeholders to deliver secure, standards-aligned data solutions.

Qualifications

• Advanced data modelling and architectural design skills.
• Hands-on experience with data modelling tools; Erwin is a plus.
• Strong understanding of data integration patterns, middleware and databases.
• Knowledge of data protection, governance frameworks and secure design practices.
• Familiarity with Purview or similar data catalog platforms.
• Experience with master and reference data management tools (Ataccama, Profisee).
• Working knowledge of Azure ecosystem including Databricks and Power BI.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience delivering solution-level data architecture in complex programs.
• Experience producing data impact assessments and reusable design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Designing and delivering high-quality solution data architectures aligned to enterprise standards
• Developing and maintaining solution data models, dictionaries and integration designs
• Acting as the project-level data architecture lead, providing trusted guidance to stakeholders
• Embedding data governance and Data Protection by Design principles
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of data architecture practices and patterns
