Job summary

SR2 REC LTD seeks an experienced Lead Solution Architect to shape and deliver cross-system solutions across a varied technology landscape within a large, complex organisation.

You will design end-to-end architectures, produce HLDs, collaborate with engineering, product and business teams, and communicate the business value of technical decisions, while guiding delivery and architecture governance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Solution Architect in large, complex organisations.
• Broad exposure to applications, cloud, integration and digital technologies.
• Strong ability to move between high-level design and hands-on delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solutions across multiple systems and technologies.
• Produce HLDs and clear architecture documentation.
• Work closely with developers, BAs and product teams throughout delivery.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies and integration considerations.
• Challenge requirements and recommend pragmatic solutions.
• Clearly communicate technical decisions and their business value.
• Provide architecture guidance and assurance across initiatives.

Lead Solution Architect - Contract

£750 per day | Outside IR35 (anticipated) | Immediate start

We're looking for an experienced Lead Solution Architect to join a large, complex organisation, helping shape and deliver solutions across a varied technology landscape.

This role would suit someone with strong experience working across enterprise environments who can combine architectural thinking with a practical, delivery-focused approach. You'll work closely with engineering, product and business teams to turn requirements into effective, scalable solutions.

The role

• Design end-to-end solutions across multiple systems and technologies
• Produce HLDs and clear architecture documentation
• Work closely with developers, BAs and product teams throughout delivery
• Identify technical risks, dependencies and integration considerations
• Challenge requirements and recommend pragmatic solutions
• Clearly communicate technical decisions and their business value
• Provide architecture guidance and assurance across initiatives

What we're looking for

• Strong experience as a Solution Architect within large, complex organisations
• Broad experience across applications, cloud, integration and digital technologies
• Strong architecture fundamentals, including producing HLDs
• Comfortable moving between high-level design and hands-on delivery
• AWS experience would be highly beneficial
• Exposure to Salesforce, Snowflake, MDM, Shopify or React would be useful
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Collaborative, pragmatic and comfortable working in evolving environments
