Lead Solar PV Site Manager – West Kent

Job summary

GP Solution is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a large utility-scale solar PV project in West Kent. You will oversee day-to-day site activities, coordinate contractors, and ensure works meet the programme, quality and safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, effective stakeholder management and a hands-on approach to resolve site issues while keeping compliance with RAMS and permits. Based on site in Kent with a permanent role in the renewable energy sector.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar on large utility-scale projects.
• Experience managing construction sites and subcontractors within EPC environments.
• Knowledge of UK HSE requirements and project delivery processes.
• CSCS Black Card or equivalent senior site management qualification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for day-to-day site management of a solar PV project.
• Lead subcontractors, site teams and construction activities to programme milestones.
• Ensure works align with RAMS, permits, standards and project procedures.
• Monitor progress, risks and issues; implement corrective actions and reports.
• Maintain site records, documentation and regular progress updates.
