Job Description:

We are seeking two experienced Solar PV Design Engineers to join a rapidly growing energy company. This home-based role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative solar energy projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading solar PV designs, including shading analysis, 3D modelling, electrical single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and connection diagrams using AutoCAD.
• Performing simulation of solar PV performance to optimize energy production.
• Reviewing and approving designs, and recommending improvements for efficiency, quality, and performance.

Requirements:

• 7-10 years of experience in Solar PV design.
• Proven engineering and design skills across various PV schemes, including rooftop and ground mount.
• Knowledge of PV manufacturers and components.
• Experience with wiring, containment, as-built drawings, scaffolding, and fall arrest/restraint systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, PV*SOL/PVSyst, and other modelling software.
• Understanding of relevant legislation related to HSSE, construction, and services installation.
• Formal training and understanding of CDM responsibilities.
