Solar PV Design Engineer X2 - Home based - Operator

Due to rapid growth in the energy sector, we have an exciting opportunity for a multi-skilled Solar PV Technical Design Engineer.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to advance their career and contribute significantly to one of the world’s leading energy suppliers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the design process, including shading analysis, 3D modelling, electrical single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and connection diagrams, using AutoCAD software.
• Performing computer simulations of solar PV systems to optimize energy production and efficiency.
• Reviewing and approving solar PV designs, and recommending technical improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, or performance.

What we need from you:

• 7-10 years of experience in Solar PV design.
• Engineering and design expertise with a proven track record on various PV projects, including rooftop and ground-mounted systems.
• Strong knowledge of PV manufacturers and components.
• Experience in detailed design aspects such as wiring, containment, as-built drawings, scaffolding, and fall arrest/work restraint systems.
• Proficiency with standard software tools (MS Office, AutoCAD, PV*SOL/PVSyst, etc.) and willingness to learn new tools.
• Comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation concerning HSSE, construction, and services installation.
• Formal training and thorough understanding of CDM responsibilities.
