Job Title: Senior .NET Developer (12-Month Contract)

Location: 100% Remote

We are seeking an experienced and talented Senior .NET Developer to join our dynamic development team on a 12-month contract with the potential for extension. The role involves creating high-quality, scalable, and resilient solutions, mentoring junior team members, and supporting existing initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

1. Create and adapt new C# / .NET Core services to meet evolving business needs.
2. Mentor and coach team members via pair programming, peer reviews, and team talks.
3. Support and enhance current systems during office hours, ensuring SLAs are met.
4. Focus on quality, reusability, clean architecture, security, and resilience throughout the application lifecycle.
5. Collaborate with Lead Developer, Delivery Manager, and Product Owner on service improvements and new features.
6. 3+ years of senior software development experience at the enterprise level with a successful project delivery track record.
7. Experience mentoring junior developers and working in an agile, self-improving team.
8. Strong diagnostic skills and support experience for troubleshooting issues.
9. Extensive experience (5+ years) with C# and .NET Core.
10. Deep understanding of Object-Oriented (OO) principles and SOLID design.
11. Proven experience with Microsoft Azure and Terraform.
12. Strong knowledge of SQL and database design.
13. Experience developing unit and integration tests, following TDD or BDD methodologies.
14. Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell is advantageous.
15. Experience working with distributed and hybrid teams.
16. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
17. Familiarity with security frameworks like OWASP and SANS25.
18. Experience with Continuous Delivery and Automated Deployment using Azure DevOps.
