Job summary

Computershare is seeking a Lead Software Developer in Edinburgh to build and mentor a growing engineering team. You will deliver high-quality outcomes for the Issuer Services business, collaborating with delivery leads, product managers and testing teams.

The role combines hands-on coding with mentoring, setting engineering direction and promoting best practices across multiple platforms while based in the Edinburgh office three days a week and enjoying home‑working flexibility.

Qualifications

• Hands-on full stack engineer with experience in C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework and SQL.
• Bringing experience of leading the engineering of web applications, with an understanding of mobile development considered an advantage.
• Have a strong record of collaborating with product managers, delivery leads, test teams and support functions.
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of the business domains your products have served.
• Demonstrate experience of working effectively with remote teams.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and day to day support to engineers within the team.
• Hands-on experience with React development or another modern front-end framework (e.g. Angular, Vue.js).
• Practical understanding of front-end development principles and component-based UI architecture.
