Job summary

Circuit Mind Limited is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to take ownership of large parts of the backend stack across our products. You will collaborate closely with the product and hardware teams to understand their needs and translate them into scalable software solutions.

Our tech stack includes Python 3.11, PostgreSQL, Django, mypy, GraphQL, Docker, Redis, TypeScript, React, and Apollo. The role emphasizes leadership, code quality, and hands-on development across the backend ecosystem.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional software development experience.
2+ years of professional experience in Python.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Experience in an agile software development environment.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product and hardware teams to understand problems of hardware engineering teams.
Plan, design, develop, test and iterate software solutions, accounting for functional and non-functional requirements.
Co-design, pair on, and review the work of other lead software developers.
Maintain the backend code base: data models, algorithms, pipelines, infrastructure, APIs, complex queries, ML models.
