Lead Software Engineer / Developer (C# .Net AWS) Nottingham / WFH to £80k

Opportunity to progress your career in a hands-on technical leadership role at a successful and growing tech company.

As a Lead Software Engineer, you'll join a new Agile team focused on adding features related to KYC and credit checking. Your main work will involve C# .Net and SQL backend development, with exposure to front-end technologies (around 20%) using AngularJS, transitioning to modern micro-frontends in React. You'll work in a supportive team environment, mentoring others, taking ownership of technical projects, and contributing to high-level architecture discussions and Low-Level Designs (LLDs).

Location / WFH:

Remote interview and onboarding process. You can work mostly remotely, with monthly meetings in the Nottingham office.

About you:

• You are an experienced Software Engineer with strong C# .Net and SQL backend skills.
• You possess good knowledge of microservices and AWS.
• You have experience with JavaScript and React or Angular.
• You have experience creating Low-Level Designs (LLDs) in collaboration with software architects.
• You are collaborative, mentoring others, and working with other Technical Leads or Agile Squad Leaders.
• You have a strong understanding of modern software engineering best practices.
• You are likely degree educated in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline.
