STEM Learning is seeking a Development Manager to lead an in-house development team and shape the technical direction of a varied digital estate spanning Dynamics 365, Power Platform and AWS-hosted services.

You will manage architecture, oversee integrations and drive secure, cost-effective delivery, balancing low-code and bespoke development. Hybrid role with on-site York presence two days a week.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software/digital development teams.
• Hands-on ability to contribute technically when needed.
• Knowledge of Dynamics 365, Power Platform and AWS environments.
• Experience with modern APIs and authentication (OAuth/OIDC).
• Familiarity with SQL databases and data management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the in-house development team and set technical direction.
• Oversee architecture across Dynamics 365, Power Platform and AWS-hosted services.
• Manage design, development and integrations for digital products and platforms.
• Balance low-code and bespoke development for secure, maintainable platforms.
• Champion CI/CD, testing and secure coding practices.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
