Job summary

Radius Limited is seeking a hands-on Development Manager to lead our software engineering team within the vehicle telematics business. You will shape the implementation of new features, coordinate delivery, and partner with stakeholders to drive innovation across NodeJS, Typescript and C# pipelines.

You will report to the Head of Engineering from our Crewe head office, balancing technical leadership with people management while embracing agile and waterfall workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience building and leading high-performing development teams.
• Ability to manage a tech stack including NodeJS, Typescript and C# in a SaaS platform.
• Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and change impact assessment.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and team mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and manage a growing software development team.
• Plan, coordinate and deliver new features and improvements for the telematics platform.
• Balance agile and waterfall methods to drive timely delivery and quality.
• Collaborate with Product, Head of Engineering and architects to evolve architecture.
• Oversee task estimation, progress tracking and KPI monitoring.
