Job summary

Wedo Technology Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Senior Software Architect to own the technical execution of a greenfield platform transformation. This remote‑first role (UK) offers visibility across software, hardware and platform teams and the autonomy to influence the architectural direction.

You will mentor architects, drive best practices, and work with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, API‑first cloud‑native solutions that leverage AI‑led development as the platform matures.

Qualifications

• Extensive software architecture experience in enterprise applications.
• Expert in C# and .NET technologies.
• Experience designing microservices‑based architectures.

• Experience with event‑driven architectures and CQRS/Event Sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the software architecture across a major greenfield platform programme.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to two Software Architects.
• Drive engineering best practices and architectural standards across development teams.
• Collaborate with Solution, Platform and Hardware Architects to deliver an integrated platform, including IoT connectivity.
• Design scalable, cloud‑native applications using modern architectural patterns.
• Champion API‑first, AI‑first and AI‑assisted development approaches.
• Guide decisions around distributed systems, scalability and performance.
• Support delivery of milestones towards PoC and phased product releases.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful execution of the product roadmap.

Salary: Up to £115,000 base

Location: Remote‑first (UK) with approximately 1 day per month in Northampton
