Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking an Advanced Social Work Practitioner for a three-month locum role in Salford, within the Community Learning Disability Team. The post offers an attractive hourly rate (£37/hr) and full-time hours, based at the Civic Centre on Chorley Road, Swinton (M27 5AW).

The position focuses on championing the rights and well-being of adults with learning disabilities, providing leadership in safeguarding and multidisciplinary settings, and delivering person-centred

Responsibilities

• Provide expert social work support, managing complex cases and promoting person-centred practice.
• Lead and supervise the team in the absence of the team manager, ensuring high standards in assessment and care planning.
• Chair safeguarding and multi-disciplinary meetings, promoting Making Safeguarding Personal by focusing on people’s desired outcomes.
• Deliver a strengths-based approach to address individual needs through effective community-led support.
• Offer individual support and guidance, and engage in professional development initiatives to foster team growth.
