Job summary

Connect2Hampshire is recruiting a Team Manager for the Family Help Safeguarding Teams based in Basingstoke. You will lead a team of qualified social workers and support staff to deliver high-quality services for children in care and those in need.

You will be a confident manager with strong knowledge of child protection legislation and practice, committed to evidence-based improvement and service excellence.

Qualifications

• 3 years post-qualifying experience in child care social work.
• Direct experience in management.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for keeping own and practitioner's awareness of employment law and HCC's policies and procedures up to date.
• Attend management training events and local briefings to ensure professional development.
• Identify training & development needs for staff to ensure competency.
• Deal with performance and conduct issues according to County Council policies.
