inspiring vet care is seeking a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to oversee clinical standards and governance across our busy Axe Valley Vets network in Somerset and beyond. The role blends hands-on clinical work with strategic leadership to shape practice growth and trajectories.

You’ll mentor teams, guide complex cases, and drive continuous improvement in collaboration with the senior leadership team, developing a strong clinical culture and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Veterinary degree and RCVS registration with significant experience in small or mixed animal practice.
• Proven experience mentoring and developing others.
• Strong leadership, communication, and governance experience.
