Job summary

South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust is seeking a Band 8a Speech and Language Therapist to work 22.5 hours per week across the Bluebell Inpatient Unit and the Deaf Adult Community Team. You will lead assessments and interventions for Deaf adults, emphasizing communication and language development.

The role requires at least three years post-qualification experience, ideally in acute settings, with strong SLT skills and a commitment to Deaf culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years post-qualification experience.
• Experience in acute healthcare or comparable specialist settings is desirable.
• Demonstrated strong SLT skills with commitment to Deaf people and complex mental health presentations.
