Job summary

Axis CLC's Concept is hiring a proactive Site Manager to lead refurbishment and renewal projects across a regional housing and public-sector portfolio in the UK. You will oversee site safety, quality, programme and client satisfaction, coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors and residents.

You'll manage live environments, ensure CDM compliance, and drive high standards of safety and delivery while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing refurbishment, renewal or improvement projects in housing or public buildings.
• Strong knowledge of building fabric, refurbishment sequencing, and finishing standards.
• Full UK driving licence and SC clearance eligibility; SMSTS/SSSTS and NEBOSH or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of refurbishment and renewal projects across housing/public sector assets.
• Plan scopes, specifications and drawings; develop programmes; coordinate materials and labour.
• Lead on site safety; produce and enforce RAMS, permits and method statements; conduct inductions.
• Implement ITPs and snag/de-snag processes to meet contractual standards.
• Track progress against schedule; manage resources and supply chain performance.
• Coordinate with clients, residents and consultants to minimise disruption and ensure quality.
