Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the United Kingdom is seeking a senior Testing & Commissioning Engineer to lead signalling testing on complex projects. You will oversee testing activities, manage resources and liaise with project teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires NR CofC and IRSE Licences as well as strong leadership and communication skills. A flexible hybrid working model and UK-wide site assignments are provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold NR CofC and IRSE License- Tester in Charge and Functional Tester IRSE License 1.3.190 / 1.3.170 or have held in the past few years.
• Experience in Railway Signalling Testing & Commissioning of Projects of Simple and Complex size is required.
• Strong personnel management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the testing and commissioning of new and altered signalling systems for Complex Works Testing of Signalling projects.
• Undertake Work Package Management responsibilities on Projects and ensure staff are briefed and documentation is completed.
• Provide upward briefing of project testing status and ensure audits and surveillances are conducted per the Quality plan.
