Job summary

Bay Court Care Home in Largs is recruiting a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) to deliver high-quality, clinically led care across shifts, with a focus on dignity and wellbeing for 80 residents.

You will assess needs, develop and review care plans, administer medications, monitor health, lead shifts, support the care team, and liaise with families and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent, person-centred care and progression into senior roles.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with active NMC PIN.
• Strong clinical judgement and ability to lead shifts.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience in a care home is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, clinically led care.
• Assess needs and develop/review care plans; administer medication.
• Monitor changes in physical and mental health; document accurately.
• Lead shifts and support the care team; make informed clinical decisions.
• Engage with residents, families and healthcare professionals to maintain standard of care.
