Job summary

Rullion are hiring a Shift Operations Manager for our rolling stock client based in Norwich. You will lead and coordinate a dedicated team of technicians, fitters, and assistants to deliver maintenance and repair activities on rolling stock.

Responsibilities include maintenance, fault-finding, repairs, investigations, and inspections, with a strong focus on safety, continuous improvement, and cost awareness.

Qualifications

• Extensive engineering experience in rolling stock maintenance or a comparable environment.
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics confidently.
• Strong knowledge of fault-finding and root cause investigation techniques.
• Experience in safety-critical environments with production-based safety and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate technicians, fitters, and assistants to perform maintenance and repair on rolling stock.
• Carry out maintenance, fault-finding, repairs, investigations, and inspections as required.
