Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in the Technology division to shape technology solutions for strategic initiatives across the firm. You’ll lead a development team, optimize existing capabilities, and drive new ServiceNow-based applications with strong architecture and scalable designs.

Role requires extensive ServiceNow leadership as architect or team lead, deep knowledge of data and security models, and excellent JavaScript/AngularJS skills to deliver robust, testable modules

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a reputed institution; ServiceNow CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM certifications.
• Extensive software development background with ServiceNow leadership as architect or team lead.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data model, security model, and application framework.
• Proficient in translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Experience in leading technologists, hiring, and resource planning to meet timelines.
• Strong front-end and scripting skills, including JavaScript and AngularJS.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, oversight, and coaching for a team of entry-level to mid-level engineers.
• Be accountable for decisions influencing resources, budget, and delivery of processes.
• Collaborate with Business Analysis to produce estimates and agile delivery plans.
• Identify and mitigate issues to execute a book of work and escalate when needed.
• Design, code, test, and deliver ServiceNow-based software using firm-wide frameworks.
• Follow and enhance scrum practices for continuous team process improvement.
