Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in the United Kingdom seeks a Lead Software Engineer to shape technology solutions driving strategic initiatives across the firm. You will lead the development team to create new solutions while optimizing existing systems and identifying new capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive ServiceNow development and team lead experience.
• Certifications: CSA, CAD, CIS–ITSM.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Experience leading technologists and driving strategic initiatives.
• Coaching, mentoring and talent development.
• Strong SDLC and ITIL knowledge.
• Proficient in resource planning and delivery.
• Deep knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, data/security models, and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and coaching for a team of entry-level to mid-level software engineers handling basic to moderately complex tasks.
• Be accountable for decisions influencing teams’ execution and process implementation.
• Collaborate with the Business Analysis team for estimates and Agile delivery plans with stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate issues to execute the book of work and escalate when necessary.
• Design, code, test, and deliver software using firm-wide frameworks and best practices for the ServiceNow platform.
• Follow and enhance Scrum practices for continuous team process improvements.

Job Responsibilities:
