Job summary

GE Aerospace's Unison sensor products team seeks a Project Engineer to lead New Product Development from concept to production. You will coordinate the Integrated Product Development Team and work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and Marketing to deliver advanced temperature sensors and related technologies.

You will guide design reviews, manage milestones, and serve as the primary technical contact for customers, with travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years engineering experience.
  • Experience leading NPD projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead NPD projects from launch through production.
  • Deliver milestones on schedule across hardware, testing, analysis, and documentation.
  • Prepare design and analysis reports and lead design reviews.
  • Serve as primary technical contact for customers on assigned projects.
  • Review drawings with GD&T understanding and ensure design outputs are complete.
  • Write technical proposals and present information to customers.
  • Lead cost reduction initiatives and support cost planning.
  • Travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
