Curtiss-Wright in Christchurch, UK is seeking a Project Engineer to manage the full lifecycle of aerospace sensor and solenoid projects, from concept through design reviews to production readiness. You will act as the main customer liaison, prepare PDR/CDR design packages, and drive cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires hands-on experience with BS8888, SolidWorks, and diverse disciplines such as magnetic analysis, analog electronics, pneumatics, or mechanical design; a CEng or IEng

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering projects in aerospace or related fields.
• Strong liaison and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of design proposals and PDR/CDR packages.
• Lead engineering projects through NPI to production readiness.
• Support electro-mechanical performance analysis and validation activities.
• Generate and approve manufacturing drawings using BS8888 and GDT.
• Support manufacturing/quality issues and approve dispositions of non-conformances.
