Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial delivery of a £48m new build accommodation project in Poole, Dorset. The role involves pre-construction through to final account, reporting to the Commercial Manager and coordinating with the project team.

The successful candidate will later move onto a £100m+ development in Bournemouth, delivering long-term continuity on major schemes with a leading UK main contractor.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a UK main contractor.
• Proven track record delivering new build or complex projects above £25m.
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
• Experience leading commercial delivery on major construction schemes.

Responsibilities

• Lead all commercial activities from pre-construction through to project completion.
• Develop and manage project cost plans, budgets and forecasts.
• Oversee procurement, subcontract management and contract administration.
• Manage commercial reporting, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with client, consultants and supply chain.
