Cumbria Emmaus House Care Home is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join their care team on a 36-hour contract. The role focuses on providing compassionate, high-quality care to older residents in a Christian-oriented home.

You will supervise staff, assist with personal care, meals, and daily activities, and support residents to stay independent within a supportive community. Experience in residential care and a Level 3 health and social care qualification are preferred.

Qualificações

• Previous care experience in residential settings.
• Experience leading care staff and shifts.
• Demonstrates empathy and compassionate approach to residents.

Responsabilidades

• Provide a high quality, professional service of care to residents.
• Supervise care team during duty period and ensure safety and security; may administer medications.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene and daily activities.
• Support residents to eat and drink and maintain independence.
• Get to know residents to provide reassurance and tailored support.
• Ensure care plans are up-to-date and followed.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times.
• Assist in end-of-life care as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager within capabilities.
