Job summary

Sierra Wireless is seeking a Test Engineer 3 to spearhead test strategies and architectures for major product lines within a semiconductor environment. You will guide advanced test development, establish robust measurement techniques, and drive optimization initiatives across manufacturing and design teams.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in semiconductor test, with deep knowledge of test methodologies and automated equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive experience in semiconductor test engineering.
• Experience leading test development initiatives and optimization projects.
• Advanced knowledge of semiconductor test methodologies, automated test equipment, and data analysis techniques.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment required.

Responsibilities

• Lead test strategy and architecture for significant product lines or platforms.
• Direct advanced test development efforts and develop complex test algorithms.
• Drive test performance, optimization, and data-driven decision making.
• Lead test technology implementation and future capability roadmaps.
• Oversee yield and quality engineering through test-driven analysis.
• Provide cross-functional leadership and mentoring within test and manufacturing teams.
