Job description

We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join our client's team on a 12-month contract basis. Preference will be given to candidates holding DV clearance, but SC cleared candidates will also be considered.

Job Specification:

The successful candidate will have expertise in developing and maintaining product security management systems for defence and government clients. Reporting to the Head of Product Security, the role involves overseeing all security aspects of the product lifecycle, including risk assessments, security requirements, and implementing security controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce Security Management Plans, work package descriptions, and cost estimates for bids and proposals.
• Conduct security risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
• Define security requirements and advise on implementation standards.
• Coordinate with Security Accreditors and Assurance Coordinators for security accreditation.
• Prepare security documentation such as Protection Profiles, Security Targets, and Evaluation Management Plans.
• Develop TEMPEST Control Plans and advise on implementation techniques.
• Support platform lockdown configurations and penetration testing activities.
• Manage through-life security support, including vulnerability and patch management.
• Lead security incident response teams during crises.
• Review and update corporate product security policies.
• Provide security training to engineering teams.

Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge:

• DV Clearance
• Knowledge of Quantum Cryptography and Quantum Key Management
