Lynx Employment Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Section Engineer for a major highways project in the Norwich area. This site-based role leads a defined section of works, planning and coordinating activities to ensure delivery in line with design and contract requirements.

The role involves mentoring engineers, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, producing lookahead programmes, and driving safety, quality and efficiencies across the section.

Qualifikationen

• Degree-level qualification in Civil Engineering or an allied subject.
• Strong site-based civil engineering experience.
• Good understanding of engineering principles and construction methodologies.
• Knowledge of construction contracts and CSCS card.
• Health & Safety and Environmental training such as SMSTS and SEATS.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Good digital skills, including MS Office, document-control and site systems.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical and operational leadership across your section of works.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, designers, subcontractors and client representatives.
• Produce 3-month and 4-week lookahead programmes.
• Monitor progress against programme and identify delays and mitigation measures.
• Plan work sequences, constraints and interfaces.
• Produce temporary works design briefs.
• Review designs and raise technical queries.
• Produce and review RAMS and inspection/test plans.
• Lead health, safety and environmental standards on site.
