Our client, a leading UK charity supporting children with brain injuries and neurodisabilities, is looking for a Lead School Nurse to join their dedicated team. As a Lead School Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and clinical leadership within a specialist educational setting. You’ll join a charity renowned for its exceptional rehabilitation, education, and community support services, all designed to enhance the lives of children and their families.

Responsibilities as a Lead School Nurse:

  • Provide strong leadership and clinical supervision to the School Health Team
  • Deliver safe, person-centred care for children with complex medical needs
  • Lead immunisation initiatives and health promotion across the school
  • Coordinate and evaluate nursing interventions in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold clinical best practices

What We’re Looking For:
  • NMC Registered Nurse (Registered Children’s Nurse or Registered Learning Disability Nurse)
  • Experience in managing complex health needs
  • Minimum two years' experience at Band 6 or equivalent level
  • Confident leader with strong decision-making and communication skills
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and writing professional clinical reports
