Job summary

Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics is seeking an Advanced Scaffold Contractor for our Bacton Gas Terminal site. The permanent role offers a 38-hour week, Mon–Fri, with a flexible start date and DBS clearance required before on-site work.

Experience leading a team is a plus, as the role may involve chargehand holiday cover and supervision tasks. Training will be provided, and adherence to safety standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have CISRS Advanced Scaffold Card and be able to lead scaffolding operations.
• IOSH/SSSTS or similar supervisory qualification is desirable.
• Capable of following safety policies and working to SG4 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Read scaffold drawings and erect scaffolds per drawings and specs.
• Erect, dismantle and carry out various scaffold types safely.
• Keep equipment and work areas safe, clean and compliant at all times.
• Report defects or incidents to supervisor promptly.
• Follow work instructions and complete required paperwork.
• Liaise daily with Site Supervisor/Manager and inform of issues.
