Job summary

Altrad are currently looking for an experienced Advanced Scaffolder to join the team at Dungeness B for the upcoming project.

The work pattern is Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week. This fixed-term position requires CTC clearance and runs from 5 November 2026 until 16 November 2026. Travelling Labour is accepted. Pay rate is £23.45 per hour.

Qualifications

• Advanced scaffolding card required.
• Site experience essential.
• CTC clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Read scaffold drawings and erect scaffold per drawings and specs.
• Erect and dismantle various scaffold types as instructed.
• Follow safety policies and SG4 requirements.
• Liaise with Site Supervisor/Manager and report issues.

About The Role

Altrad are currently looking for an experienced Advanced Scaffolder to join the team at Dungeness B for the upcoming project.

The work pattern for this position is, Monday - Friday, 38 hours. This is a fixed term position which requires CTC clearance to be held. Starting 5th November 2026 until 16th November 2026 approx.

Travelling Labour is accepted for this position. Pay rate: £23.45 per hour

Key Deliverables

• Having an understanding of company safety policy and ensuring that it is complied with.
• Use the correct tools, plant and equipment and keep them in good condition. Ensure they are safe before use
• Report to supervision any defects in plant and equipment, protective clothing or safety equipment
• Work in a safe manner at all times, avoid taking unnecessary risks
• Keep working areas and welfare facilities in a clean, tidy and safe condition at all times
• Report all accidents or incidents immediately to the supervisor or site manager
• Follow work instructions on the work order card
• Actively participate in pre-job risk assessments
• Keep working areas in a clean and tidy condition at all times
• Complete all the appropriate paperwork associated with the task as requested by Altrad and the client
• Liaise on a daily basis with the Site Supervisor/Manager and keep them fully informed of all issues.
• Adhere to SG4 requirements
• Read scaffold drawings and erect scaffold in line with drawings and specifications
• Erect, dismantle and carry out the following: Tower scaffolds, Independent scaffolds, Birdcage scaffolds, Slung scaffolds, Cantilever Scaffolds, Truss out Scaffolds, Proprietary scaffold system
• Temporary installed suspended scaffolds and access equipment
• Special design structures
• Comply with technical manual and relevant standards
• Give clear instructions which incorporate safety aspects and ensure that they are followed
