Job summary

Laing O'Rourke is recruiting experienced Advanced Scaffolders for the M42 Box HS2 Project in Birmingham. You will join directly employed teams and support one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects with ongoing training and development opportunities.

You will lead scaffold activities, perform inspections, and ensure safe erecting, dismantling and maintenance of scaffolding structures, ladders and guardrails on site.

Qualifications

Advanced scaffolders must inspect scaffolds to ensure structural integrity and safety.
Experience supervising Scaffold Labourers and Trainees on site.
Ability to handle heavy materials and operate hand/power tools.
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather and heights.

Responsibilities

Load and unload scaffolding materials on site.
Erect and dismantle scaffolding structures safely and efficiently.
Install ladders, walkways and handrails.
Fix guardrails and safety netting.
Erect scaffolding around formwork and shuttering used for concrete structures.
Carry out scaffold inspections in line with industry standards.
Follow approved safe working methods and site procedures at all times.
